Ozone Afterburner

The Ozone Afterburner is Ozone race-bred parawing — the fastest, most upwind-efficient wing in the line. It is built for riders who want to hammer upwind and then take the longest downwind run they can, not for stashing and redeploying on every wave.

A high cell count and high-aspect single-surface canopy keep the wing clean when it is loaded. Tacking is smoother because of the overhead drive. The all-new monobloc carbon control bar (35 cm, 90 g) gives a direct, light connection. Bridles balance aerodynamic performance with workable stashability: thinner Kevlar on the upper level, the same thicker mid-level and riser lines used on the Pocket Rocket V2 and PowerPack.

Ozone designed the Afterburner for hooked-in harness riding. Each wing ships with a 25 cm fixed-loop harness line on the bar. The wing will stash if the rider is practiced, but this is not a stash-every-wave wing. For all-around freeride use the Pocket Rocket V2. For rapid stash and redeploy use the PowerPack.
