Compared to higheraspect tails like the Pulse, the Atom Surf delivers a more reactive, playful ride while still maintaining strong pitch stability. Its carbon construction lets riders size down the tail without losing lift, reducing drag while keeping control smooth and predictable. The Atom Surf Tail works seamlessly across the entire KT foil range, and with proper shimming and spacing, it can be tuned to pair with other foil systems as well. Riders can dial in lift, balance, and feel based on stance, fuselage length, and frontwing choice, making it a versatile, surforiented tail that adapts to any setup.

121 cm². The most lively and carvefocused option in the lineup. It feels sharp, reactive, and instantly engaged, built for riders who want maximum responsiveness and a short, surfy feel while still keeping pitch control locked in. The carbon layup lets you run it smaller than noncarbon tails for the same lift, cutting drag and giving the ride a crisp, controlled edge. Best paired with smaller to midsize front wings when you want looseness and agility without losing confidence or precision. Common frontwing matches:

• Halo – Ideal with 550 Surf, and great when you want the loosest, most reactive Halo feel

• Loosens up bigger front wings like the 800 and 950

• Solus – Ideal for 565 to 775 for cruising and turns

• Atlas – Pairs well with the 570 and 680 for surforiented riding
