Foil Drive Assist MAX+

Built on the 43V architecture, the Foil Drive Assist MAX+ offers Foil Drive’s most durable one-piece battery design, all while retaining the compact, lightweight and balanced package that made the original Assist MAX so versatile.

From tiny bumps to the biggest waves of your life, MAX+ gives you the freedom to keep flying regardless of the conditions. Surfing, light wind wing, downwind, wake, flatwater or eFoiling, it adds more power, runtime and range to practically any existing foil setup, making every session easier to access, more productive and more fun.

The Assist MAX+ is the Gen 2.5 “all-rounder” and directly replaces the Assist MAX. It steps into the generation Fusion has already proven on the water, with around 20% more power and thrust than the MAX, a tilt sensor, improved Bluetooth, and more usable runtime from the new FM+ battery range.

• All rider types and abilities under 100 kg on small to mid-length boards (Foil Drive suggests the Fusion for riders 90 kg+ wanting maximum power and runtime)

Choose your setup

Battery: FM+ 650 Battery (648Wh), or No Battery if you already own an FM+ battery.
Motor: Retro-fit High Power Motor Kit (Universal Mini Pod, High Power V2 motor, three-blade prop), Integrated Mast High Power Motor (for integrated masts), Retro-fit Standard Motor Kit (Universal Motor Pod, Standard V2 motor, two-blade prop), or No Motor. Motor pods and mast adaptors are no longer included with the base kit; they come with the motor kits.

Important: Existing 40V Assist MAX batteries and chargers are not compatible with the MAX+. The MAX+ runs on the 43V platform and only accepts the FM+ battery range. The 43V Standard Charger 12amp is included with every MAX+. The lighter FM+ 430 battery is coming early 2027. FM+ batteries are also compatible with the Foil Drive Fusion (with the FM+ Battery Adaptor).
